The Life of PAUL BRACEY ANDERSON


Paul Bracey Anderson

February 12, 1933 – September 4, 2017

 Paul Anderson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, the son of Caroline Bracey Anderson and Edward Clair Anderson (Both deceased.)  He was an adjunct professor of Literature at CCAC Allegheny Campus and Robert Morris University. His teaching career spanned 50 years.He was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, the University of Pittsburgh where he took his undergraduate work and Auburn University where he received a Master’s in Early English Literature.  He was a long time member of the MENSA Society, the Masons and the Shriners. He was an active member of Church of the Ascension in Oakland.  He is survived by his wife, Peg, children, Paul, Robert, Elizabeth and Laura, and grandchildren Clara and Caleb Anderson. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 9 at 1PM at Church of the Ascension In lieu of flowers, he requests any remembrances in his name, in the form of donations be sent to the Music Ministry at Church of the Ascension, 4729 Ellsworth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
