Julie Ann Weitlauf, age 41 of Amelia, passed away August 2, 2017 from complications of a long illness stemming from an auto accident. She was the beloved wife of Michael Bryant, the loving mother of Lily Bryant who was the light of her life, devoted daughter of Elizabeth Weitlauf and Ken (Cindy) Weitlauf, cherished sister of Jeff (Jennifer) Weitlauf, and caring aunt of Sessaley and Madison. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Steve and Lillian Gray, her paternal grandparents: William and Martha Weitlauf, her aunt Gail Zeller, her uncle Tom Weitlauf, and her dearly loved pets. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio she was the second child of Ken and Elizabeth Weitlauf. She was raised in Norwood surrounded by her large and devoted family. She met her husband Michael on February 14, 2000 while training at the Internal Revenue Service. In 2008 they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter, Lillian Ruth Barbara Bryant, to whom she dedicated her life. Julie was passionate about ice hockey, and loyally followed the Cincinnati Cyclones, going seven seasons without missing a game. She shared a special bond with animals and her gentle presence allowed her to share many extraordinary moments with wildlife. A wonderful and doting mother, she loved her daughter more than anything in the world. Julie was always quick witted and clever, and she lit up a room with her loving and funny personality. She was a ray of sunshine in all our lives. Visitation for Julie will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home (Amelia) on Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery
