Wayne James Johnson (66), formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away at his home in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 14, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife Lois (Ketchum) Johnson. Wayne recently retired from Gannett Company, Inc. of Cincinnati and looked forward to low-key living.
Surviving family include his son Allen Johnson (Amber) and grandchildren Madeline and Spencer Johnson of Fort Wayne Indiana, sisters Diane (Fred) Legawiec and Carol Johnson (Kevin Montgomery) both of Syracuse, NY, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Wayne loved people and had an unsurpassed optimism that he shared with everyone. He greatly missed the love of his life Lois and is now sharing peace with her in Heaven.
A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Church 3500 Madison Rd., Cincinnati Ohio 45209 on July 15, 2017. A gathering will take place at 11:00am with a service following at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Church.
