SMITH
George W., loving husband of Laverne Smith (nee Tarver) for 67 years, beloved father of Millie Simpson, Vanessa Schweitzer and Marsha Smith (Terry Watson), cherished grandfather of Holly Bryant-Simpson, Cody Simpson, Skyler Simpson, Garrett Hilsinger, Aaron Schweitzer and Glenn Smith and 9 great-grandchildren, dear brother of Gretta Kincaid and the late Clifford Smith. George, a resident of Union Township, died August 2, 2017 at the age of 88. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6 from10 AM until the time of funeral service at 12 noon at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery on Monday at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. www.ecnurre.com
