Age 82, of Turtle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Loving mother of Bob (Ann Marie) Whisner, Vaughn (Kellie) Whisner, Sheila (Richard) Harris, Bruce Whisner and the late Carl Douglas Whisner; dear grandmother of Justin, Adam, Jacob, Nataly and Abigail; great- grandmother of Melody Rose; sister of Herbert Zischkau, Jr., Grace Baumeister, Eleanor (late John) Uckele; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barbara was a proud University of Pittsburgh graduate, and was a talented artist. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. corner of (118) Shaw and Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Service Friday 11 a.m. at Monroeville United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in Homewood Cemetery.
