Of Scott Twp., unexpectedly on Sun., June 18, 2017. Beloved wife for 47 years to Pete (deceased); mother of Sarantos and Christos; sister of Danny Skandalakis of Ormond Beach and Calliope Skoufis (George) of Atlanta. Preceded in death by her parents, Panagiotis and Marika Skandalakis; brothers, Nikolaki, John, and Renos; sisters, Matoula Drakakis and Georgia Vorvolakos; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Molai, Greece in 1936, she immigrated to the US and married her husband in 1964. She was an outgoing and compassionate person who loved her family deeply and took a caring interest in everyone she met. She will be missed by all those who were fortunate to have known her. Family and friends will be received on Thur., June 22, 2017, 2-4, 6-9 p.m., with Trisagion service at 7:30 p.m., at the WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220 (412-563-2800). Funeral service 10 a.m. Fri., St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 419 S. Dithridge St., Pgh., 15213. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Cathedral.
