The Life of HARRY CHRISTOPHER JAMES

Harry Christopher James went with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2017. He was 86 years old, and young at heart. He was born in Pittsburgh, the son of the late loving parents, Michael and Mary W. James. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Elaine K. James; and his beloved sons, Michael (Shernet), Nicholas (Hilda), George (Carol), and Christopher; also, his wonderful grandchildren, Sophia Anna, Alexander, Brianne and Peter; and his beloved brother, George M. James (Lee). Harry served in the Army in Korea. He was a member of the Icarian Society and the Masons Corinthian Lodge. Harry had a smile for everyone who knew him. He also wrote great poetry. He attended business college and was an accountant, later working for the Post Office for more than 30 years. Harry loved sports, and excelled in many during his youth. He came from a close-knit family. He was proud of all of them. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Angelo Kazalas; and sisters-in-law, Athena, Annette, and Toula Kazalas. 
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at BEINHAUERS, 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Additional viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Church (123 Gilkeson Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228). Interment to follow at Homewood Cemetery.
