The Life of JAMES T. ROBINSON

 

 

ROBINSON JAMES T.
Age 69, died quietly at his home in Mooresville, NC on May 5, 2016. He was the son of the late James S. Robinson and Mary Vaskov of Pittsburgh, PA. He was a 1964 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He received a degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University in 1969. He was employed by General Electric, Syracuse, NY as a programmer and retired 35 years later as a software systems design manager for the now Lockheed Martin Company. He enjoyed the game of golf and rooting for his "Nittany Lions." He had a great sense of humor and a ready laugh. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Valerie Robinson; his aunt, Xenia Vaskov; his uncle, George Dorogy and wife, Marge; his brother-in-law, Mark Horean and wife, Vicki; a special niece, Heather Gillaspy and husband, Shaun; and a large extended family. A private Celebration of Life event will be held in Kings Ferry, NY on July 16, 2016. A memorial service will be held in Pittsburgh as well at a later date.
