The Life of Rebecca Dalene Bishop

Rebecca Dalene "THE MOM" (nee McGee) was born September 24, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Barry Wayne Bishop, on July 1, 1966 and they recently celebrated 50 years together. Rebecca loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, and devoted her life to his service. She told all she met of his unending love and freely gave to anyone in need. On April 25, 2017, her Lord called her home to spend eternity with him in Heaven.

Rebecca, a resident of Union Township, was… survived by her husband Barry, brothers Bernie and Rob, sister Anita, 10 children, 25 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was full of love, joy, and laughter, and will be greatly missed. Her children: Randall who was blessed with Casey (ggc Jude), Chelsea (ggc Stella), Dustin and Joey; Timothy and Vickie who were blessed with Andrew, Neil, Steven, Jacob, and Megan; Anthony who was blessed with Tyler, Emilie, Sydney and Nathan Andrew with Renee; Nathan and Julie who were blessed with Miles, Quentin, and Rosemary; Matthew and Rebecca who were blessed with Caleb and Courtney; Jesse and Kristen who were blessed with AreEonna and Aurorah; Jimmy and Melissa who were blessed with Ava, Elleana, and Mira; Greg and Lydia who were blessed with Alaynah and Clayton; Christina Irena Marie and Larissa Anna Marie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 27 from 5-8 PM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia. Funeral service Friday at 12:30 PM at Clough Pike Baptist Church, 1025 Clough Pike, Cincinnati 45245. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
