Age 92, of Aspinwall, PA died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. She was born in Pittsburgh on September 13, 1924, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Jean Glaser, Sr. Virginia graduated from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing. Most of her career she worked for Gulf Oil Corporation as an occupational nurse in downtown Pittsburgh and then the research lab in Harmarville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Glaser, Jr. in 2014. Survivors include her niece, Earleen Glaser of Erie, PA. The GLUNT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., EDINBORO, PA is in charge of funeral arrangements. Friends may call at The Homewood Cemetery, 1599 South Dallas Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in their chapel.
