JAMES D., JR. 
Age 91, of Oakmont, died Tuesday morning, April 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Mary B. (Baird) Alcorn; dear father of James Alcorn III, Patricia (Rick) Jackson, Jeffrey (Tonya) Alcorn, and Jean (Gregg) Davis; brother of the late Dee Alcorn; brother-in-law of Elizabeth Alcorn, Beverly Baird, Charles and Sally Baird, and the late William and Pauline Baird, and James Baird; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren survive. Jim was a member of Oakmont Presbyterian Church, U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of Verona Lodge F&AM 548, and Noble of Syria Shrine. He was also a proud Eagle Scout. Friends and family will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, Thursday 4-8 p.m. Masonic services Thursday evening 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Services Friday 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave., Oakmont, PA, 15139, in his memory.
