The Life of Linda C. Slack

Linda C. Slack, 68, Spring Township, died Feb. 18 at 7:33 a.m. at home. She was the wife of the late Mohamed K. Mohamdein. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John Slack and Mary (Starkey) Slack. Linda had been employed as an executive assistant at the Banque Bruxelles Lambert at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Earlier in her career, she worked for the
Embassy of Madagascar in Washington, D.C. She was a graduate of the College of Wooster where she received a bachelor's degree in French and went on to receive her master's degree in French from La Sorbonne in Paris, France, where she met her husband, Mohamed. She is survived by her son, James O. Mohamdein, a professional actor and musician of Brooklyn, New York and her sister, Marjorie E. Slack of Burke, Virginia. She is also survived by her six kitties: Misty, Muffin, Coco, Gigi, Ota, and Deena. Memorial services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA, Monday, February 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive relatives, friends, and well-wishers in Bean Funeral Home Monday 5:00-6:00 p.m. Private burial will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Arbor Day Foundation at arborday.org and to Best Friends Animal Society at bestfriends.org in memory of Mrs. Linda C. Slack.
