Nancy Finnell, 82 passed away peacefully on February 23 at National Health Care. 

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Leonard W. Finnell, daughter of the late Harry and Betty Rau of Pittsburgh, PA. Nancy is survived by a sister, Suzanne R. Gibbon of Pittsburgh, PA.

Nancy is also survived by a son, Douglas W. Finnell (Caroline) of Greenville, SC and daughter Joy Matalon (Noah) of Garrison, NY. Granddaughters are Casey and Sophie Finnell of Greenville, SC and Leora, Sarina and Alicia Matalon of Garrison, NY. 

Nancy lived most of her life in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. She moved to The Gardens assisted living in Greenville, SC in May 2015 after the passing of her husband Len. Nancy greatly enjoyed her time at The Gardens and the many friends she made there. The family is eternally grateful to The Gardens caregivers and staff for the love, care and compassion shown to Nancy during her time there.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation following the service. 

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice . The family is at the home of Doug Finnell, 8 Hunley Lane, Greenville, SC 29605.
