On Monday, February 6, 2017, passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Sloane; adored mother of Elliot Sloane, Leslie (Jennifer) Sloane and Randi (Michael) Sigal; daughter of the late Sara Moss; and niece of the late Morris and Jean Leptzig; loving grandmother of Jeff Sigal, Reid (Terri) Sigal and Brian (Katie) Sigal. Also survived by five nephews and many dear friends. Lois was a special friend to many with whom she enjoyed playing bridge, mahj and movie nights. Her dedication to the organization of the Christmas Fund at the Kenmawr was an annual event she took great pride in and cherished year after year. Her passion for fashion was shared with so many of her customers at Adele's, Shady Lady and Whodunnit. She was an avid lover of the home shopping networks and she anticipated each new arrival from QVC with enthusiasm and delight. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to services (2 - 3 p.m.). Interment Homewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Sigal IBD Research Fund, Attn: Gary Dubin; University of Pittsburgh and UPMC, Forbes Tower, Suite 8084, 3600 Forbes Avenue at Meyran Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
