The Life of Eric Franklin Squire

Will be remembered by his family and so many friends for his beautiful heart, charisma and the deep connection he made with everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all he touched with his tremendous passion and sincerity. He was a faithful friend, always willing to go to the ends of the earth for anyone. Eric was born December 9, 1966 in Baltimore, grew up in Philadelphia, graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon School, UC Boulder and USF Law School and after a 5 year battle with cancer died peacefully and with dignity in Oregon on October 30, 2016.
Eric loved music and to dance -- from Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead to bluegrass and the Del McCoury Band to New Orleans funk and Stevie Wonder. As with his love of music, Eric lived his life with true authenticity, a deep sense of love, gratitude, and brilliance.
Eric is survived by his parents, Roslyn Skversky Squire and Richard M. Squire; his sister, Brooke Wyatt (Brian) and the nieces he adored, Haley and Camille and his uncles, Robert Skversky and Donald Squire.
Eric will be honored with Graveside Services and Burial at 11 A.M., on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 321 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd PA. Eric's life will also be celebrated in the Boulder, CO area in the Spring. Immediately after the Services, the family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Richard Squire.
