The Life of Henry Behm Harbage

HARBAGE, Henry B., 90, of Exton. PA. passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016.  Son of Joseph and Gladys Harbage.  A native of Haddonfield NJ., Henry served in the Navy during WWII, a reservist until 1955, and earned a Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught at Overbrook School for The Blind for 25 years. Henry was Scout Master of Troop 123.  He was a member of the American Numismatic Association for over fifty years.  A lifelong Methodist, he will be laid to rest in the Finkenauer Mausoleum.  He is predeceased, five days earlier, by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marie B. Harbage (nee Finkenauer).  He is survived by his sister Barbara Pennypacker of East Berlin PA; daughters, Joanna Hurst of Malvern PA and Pamela Martin of Pottstown PA; 5 grand-children and 3 great-grand-children. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Overbrook School for The Blind. Visitation at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Service at 11 A.M., Saturday, November 12th, at West Laurel Hill Cemetery at the Chapel of Peace. 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd PA.  Entombment immediately following at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd PA.
