The Life of Sheela Allen-Stephens
ALLEN - STEPHENS, SHEELA (nee Rowe), passed away on October 21, 2016 at the age of 73. She is survived by her children Frank Allen, and Desiree Murray; her grand-children Eric Murray, Isaiah Davis-Allen, and Josephine Davis-Allen, and her sister Panchita Carter. Sheela worked as a reporter for WCAU-TV (Channel 10) for many years and was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Stephens, WCAU-TV (Channel 10) camera-man. Family and friends are invited to Sheela's Life Celebration at the Sharon Baptist Church, 3955 Conshohocken Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131, from 12 Noon - 1 P.M. on Saturday, October 29th. Services will follow at 1 P.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sheela's name to Susan G. Komen for the Cure , or to the American Cancer Society.
