The Life of Miriam James
James, Miriam G., passed away peacefully on August 24, at the age of 74, at her home in Frederick PA. She is survived by her two children: Sandra and Stephen, their spouses, Emiliano and Kimberly; her three grandsons: Brandon, Christopher and Devon; and her brother, G. Brook. Predeceased by her husband, G. Walter; her brother, Edward T.; sister, Kathryn B.; and parents Miriam T. and George B. Gay. Miriam taught special education in Philadelphia, and worked in Real Estate, beginning with her father’s business in Center City. Miriam was generous and caring throughout her life. She lived with dementia for over a decade, and always maintained her love of family and enjoyment of music. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of West Laurel Hill Funeral Home, 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
