The Life of Betha Garretson
GARRETSON Betha, “Betty” L., 89 of Roslyn, PA died on Wed. August 17, 2016 in her home surrounded by family. She was born in Broadus, MT on May 28, 1927 to the late Louella Mae (nee Hancock) and the late Cecil Smith. She loved camping, traveling, dancing, and lived life to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her son Larry; the love of her life husband William A. Garretson; her sisters Anne, Bonnie, Donna; and her brother Bob. She is survived by her children: Kenneth; Dawn, “Susie”; Stephen (Nil); Trish (Dave); and Kathy (Gary); her brothers: Don, Bud, and Les; her sister Peggy; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. A funeral service will be held on Sat., Aug. 20, 2016, 12:30 PM, at WEST LAUREL HILL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Interment to imm. follow. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

The first time that I met Betty"Mom-Mom", was at Trish and Dave's wedding rehearsal.She was all smiles from the rehearsal through the end of the reception. During the reception Betty and I danced almost every dance, she was awesome dance partner. Ever since then whenever I was visiting Dave & Trish, I always had to sit and talk with Betty and have a bunch of laughs together. I will miss her very much.
