The Life of Beryl Watson
Beryl M. Watson was born in Brooklyn, NY to Elliot and Winifred. She received her business administration degree in Brooklyn, NY. Beryl worked most of her adult life for the U.S. Department of Defense, where she started as a secretary and retired as the Executive President of Defense Supply. She was an advocate for those less fortunate, she had a very strong faith in the Lord and was a regular church goer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harold Charles Oglesby, Sr. and her second husband, Purnell Watson. She is survived by her children, Harold C. Oglesby, Jr. and Karen A. Ridley; three grandchildren, David Ridley, Jr., Lorna Ridley and Anthony Ridley; and six great grandchildren: David Ridley, III, Brianna Ridley, Marquis Johnson, Quentin Ridley, Zaniah Ridley, and Tasia Ellis. Visitation at 10:00 am and Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11th at West Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Inc., 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA, 19004
