The Life of Francis H. Naylor V

Naylor, Francis Henry V (“Chip”) died Wednesday, June 29, 2016.   He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Naylor (Sheppard) and brother Scott Michael Naylor.   He is survived by his beloved wife, Marci Naylor, two dogs Cub and Chooch, father Francis Naylor IV (Susan), and three brothers Eric (Lauren), Thomas and Sean, and two nephews Jude and Caleb.

Chip was a graduate of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He loved his professional pursuits and worked in Human Resources at various companies in Chicago and Philadelphia.  Most recently, he held a position with AmerisourceBergen.  He loved helping others any chance he got; he always had a helping hand ready for friends, family and neighbors who needed help with just about anything.  Chip will be remembered for his warm heart, enthusiasm for his work, his commitment to building a greener planet, his deep affection for animals and love of sports, both as an athlete and a spectator.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral service at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at O’Leary’s Funeral Home in Springfield, PA.  Interment to follow at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chip’s honor to Ecotrust.  Ecotrust sees the many faces of change in our climate, in our culture, in our connections to one another, and believes that resilience — the capacity to influence and adapt to change — is essential to meeting these changes and the challenges they present. My heartfelt condolences go to Chip and his family. I had the honor to work with Chip. As his manager I appreciated his willingness to always join a project or help his fellow team mates. On a personal note I am grateful to have known him for his kind heart, infectious smile and willingness to always step up to help, volunteer and input his enthusiasm. He will be greatly missed and always thought of in the highest regard. You made a difference. Joanne

I'm writing this still in shock over this tragic news. I was fortunate enough to work with Chip during his time at Unisys and I couldn't have asked for a better coworker and friend. We worked on the same team and always looked forward to our conversations about the Flyers and Philadelphia sports in general. He was a larger than life type of guy and I'm blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Rest easy Chip...you will be greatly missed. Marc
