McCLENDON, Cary Jr., “Mac”, 92 of Philadelphia died Sunday, May 15, 2016. He worked as a certified welding specialist at the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the pacific theater. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Florence. He is survived by his daughter Yvette Long (Robert), his daughter Lael Jenkins (Melvin), his son Cary (Joan), his sister Martha, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with services beginning at 11 AM on Sat., May 28, 2016 at St. Matthews AME, 215 N. 57th Street, Phila, PA 19139.
