The Life of Frances Zerbe

ZERBE, Frances V. (nee Vogel) 91, formerly of Huntington Valley, died Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was a graduate of Girls’ High, Philadelphia, PA, and Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA.  She was a reporter for WBUX Radio, Doylestown, PA, and Manager of Production at N.W.Ayer.  Her musical skills were shared in performances with the Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Philomusica Chorale, Church of the Good Shepherd, East Falls, PA, and with many residents of local retirement facilities.  She was a docent at Hope Lodge where she also was on staff at Summer History Camp.  She was a member of the Spring House Estates Questers and the Morning Light Chapter of the Eastern Star. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles P. and nephew, Todd Kratz, and survived by four nephews: William, David and Richard Vogel and Neil Kratz, sister-in-law, Ethel Kratz and eight great nieces and two great nephews. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. and funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 10th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2086 Parkview Ave., Abington, PA 19001. Interment immediately following at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazier, PA. A memorial service on Wednesday, May 11th   at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium of Spring House Estates, 728 Norristown Rd., Ambler, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made either to the Concert Forum at Spring House Estates and mailed to Bob Johnston, Apt. D 120, 728 Norristown Rd., Ambler, PA 19002 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, address above.
