Rob, in my heart, if not in this world of the everyday, was my lifelong friend. We moved in different directions but I have cherished him since he and Jon and I met in high school. Were were a trio of best friends it seemed for the most formative years of our lives. Later through letters Rob inspired me to travel, to read, to care about philosophy and poetry, to teach, and even to write. Robert was very beloved and even though I cannot be there in person, I am there in spirit, and I send every kindness to Elizabeth, Mr. and Mrs. Fleeger, Ryan, Reese, FaithAnne, and all in attendance. With love, and in sadness and joy, Lisa
