Born Feb 28th, 1917 her first known birthday gift was from her Uncle Richard coming back from WWI. She graduated Roxborough HS in 1935 and worked on staff at Roxborough Memorial Hospital receiving numerous awards for her 40 years of service. A devout and giving woman she loved and served three generations of her family her entire life. Her recollections of each person who entered her life remained vividly with us all. Outliving nearly all of her friends she remained devoted to her church life and family values. Entering Simpson House in 1995 she was honored as the longest living resident of the house and friends who responded in kind to her kindnesses. Because of all she has shared and the number of people she shared with, we are certain she will live on in the memories of many.
