The Life of Jane S. Chandler
Jane S. Chandler of Coatesville Jane S. Chandler, 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, Pa. after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Oct. 24, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Chandler Jr. and a son, Paul Gary Chandler. She is survived by son Robert (Linda) Chandler of Billerica, Massachusetts and daughter Frances (Wayne) Forbes of Coatesville and five grandchildren. Jane retired in Aug. 1989 from Lukens Steel Company where she was a secretary in Production Control. Her family is grateful for the loving care of the 2 Jones staff at Pocopson Home where she lived since May 2012. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jane’s name may be made to Neighborhood Health Inpatient Hospice, 400 E Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380 or Pocopson Home, 1695 Lenape Rd., West Chester, PA 19382.
