FLOYD, ELIZABETH A., 78, passed away on Sept. 28, 2015 after a long battle with breast cancer. Faithful wife of 53 years to the Rev. Melvin Floyd, a decorated police officer turned anti-gang crusader, who stopped the gang killings in Philadelphia. Loving mother of Mary (Sylvester), Ruth (Kenyatta) and Esther (Daniel). Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grand-children. Viewing 9 A.M., Monday, Oct. 5, at Nazarene Baptist Church, 3975 German-town Ave., Phila., PA 19140, followed by Funeral 11 A.M.
