The Life of Edmund L. Margavich

MARGAVICH, Edmund, L. a former longtime resident of West Norriton and currently of Shannondell, passed on Aug. 29, 2015. He was born Aug. 8, 1925 in West Hazleton, PA to the late Adam E. and the late Mary (nee Petrovich) Margavich. Edmund was a kind and gentle man whose devotion to God and family were the cornerstone of his life. He served his country during WWII in both the Army and the Air Force. Edmund worked at Westinghouse in Allentown and then settled in the Norristown area where he worked at Burroughs for 35 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Helen (nee Yemola), his daughter Mary Kay, his son-in-law Gerald Mounts, his brother Walter (Justine) Margavich, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation at 10:45 a.m., Funeral Mass at noon, Thursday, September 3rd, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton  St., Norristown, PA 19401 Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
