The Life of Joseph F. Boyle Jr.

JOSEPH, F., JR., 91, on July 1, 2015, of Malvern PA, formerly of Beverly Hills, Upper Darby. Beloved husband of Angela M. (nee DeSantis); loving father of Gregory K. (Lisa), Conrad J. (Donna), Angela J. Cordisco (Anthony), Kevin R. (Frances), Christopher W. (Jane), and Gina M. Bradley; loving grandfather of 17, Conrad, Nicole, Jenna, Kevin J., Lauren, Anthony J., Christian, Stephen, Zachary, Vincent, Julia, Danielle, Connor, Marissa, Tara, Jeffrey, Joseph D. and one great-grandchild, Dylan Anne; dear brother of the late Elizabeth Byrne. He graduated from West Catholic HS in 1942 and then served in the 104th Infantry Division of the Army as they fought through France, Belgium , and western Germany during WWII. After the War, he attended St. Joseph's College and graduated in 1949. He married Angela in 1952 and raised his family in Upper Darby. He worked as an executive in the banking industry and was a devout Catholic, an active member of St. Laurence and St. Patrick Parishes and various Catholic Charities. He had a passion for history, he was a proud veteran and he loved his country. A dedicated family man, his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild were his life.
Friends and relatives are invited to his Viewing at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media PA 19063, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 7th, and to his Funeral Mass immediately following. Int. West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 215 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd PA 19004.
