The Life of Mr. RICHARD CHARLES ANDERSON

Anderson, Richard Charles,

born December 26, 1921 in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 21, 2015 at his home in Louisville with his family by his side.

A member of the "greatest generation," Dick served his country as a sergeant in the 66th Infantry Division of the Army, earning a Bronze Star during combat in Northern France during World War II

After retiring from a distinguished career with the Ford Motor Company, Dick embarked on a second career as the owner/operator of Alix Adams Modeling Agency and School. Over the course of the 33 years he ran the agency, his charismatic spirit and ever positive attitude touched the lives of many.

Fluent in French, Dick was an avid reader, scholar, and music enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He was a man of deep faith who loved life and led by example. His spirit will touch all who knew him for the rest of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his college sweetheart and first wife, Lenny, his daughter, Debbie, and his brother, Bob.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 20 years, Terry Wise Wells, his bonus sons, O'Malley Dreisbach (Christian) and Dalton Dreisbach (Julie), his four granddaughters- the great joys in his life, his most loved nephew, Jeff Anderson (Darlene) and niece, Marlene Joyce.
