The Life of Lawrence J. Church
With family members present, Lawrence departed this life with a peaceful countenance on Thursday, February 5, 2015, after a brief, but serious illness at the age of 53. Lawrence was born in Bridgetown, VA to the late Willie J. Church and Gladys L. Church. He was raised in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduating from Roxborough High School and attending vocational school for automotive engineering in Philadelphia, PA, it became evident that Lawrence was a free spirit, loving the big wide outdoors and all its beauty and fresh air. We will cherish all such memories and miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother and three sisters, Peggy, Darlene and Olivia and other family members. A private family viewing and interment will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 11:00 am. Arrangements by Bringhurst Funeral Home at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
