The Life of MRS. BEATRICE BROOKS BRADSHAW

Bradshaw, Beatrice "Bea" Brooks,

of Louisville, passed into eternal life on Sunday afternoon, January 18, 2015, with her beloved husband by her side.

Born in Henderson, KY, Bea was the only daughter of Jessie and Blanche Brooks, who predeceased her. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Bea loved life and she was blessed with a long and active one. She was a former member of Audubon Country Club, and an avid golfer there for 30 years. Bridge was her passion. Bea loved traveling to various competitions and was very proud of achieving her ACBL ranking of Silver Life Master.

Bea is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Thomas W. Bradshaw. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews, among them Peggy and Jim Rucker, William Kagin, Brad and Linda Bradshaw, Judy Bradshaw, Patti Ogden, Bill and Theresa Clark, Tom and Rea Clark, and a very special great niece, Ashley Bass, as well as many other great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank especially the nursing staffs of Treyton Oaks Tower and Hosparus for their loving care of Bea.
