The Life of Frank McPherson Sr.

McPherson, Frank H., 83 of Rosemont, PA, died on Friday, January 16, 2015. He graduated from Lower Merion High School and Wharton School at University of Penn. He worked Remington Rand, UNIVAC in engineering, sales, marketing and management. In 1969, with colleagues, he formed Decision Data and was Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.  They opened 72 offices in the U.S. and Canada. When he retired, Frank attended Philadelphia College of Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts where he became a wood sculptor. He was a board member of Wayne Art Center and a lifetime church member, and most recently a Deacon and elder at Wayne Presbyterian Church. A loving husband of 54 years, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, teacher and friend, he will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (nee Nixon), his three children: Frank, Jr. (Margie), Lynn McPherson Child and Mary Kathryn, and six grandchildren: Daniel, David, Matthew, April, Samantha and Thomas. Memorial Service, Saturday, January 31st, 10 a.m., at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Ave. Wayne, PA 19087. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Wayne Arts Center, 413 Maplewood Ave., Wayne, PA 19087 or Wayne Presbyterian Church.
