The Life of MR. GEORGE C. BISIG II

George C. Bisig II, 75, Centennial Colorado, passed away December 24, 2014. He is survived by Life Partner Marianne George; sons Gregory A. Bisig (Sue), Tallahassee, Florida; George Carl Bisig III (Julie), St. Louis, Missouri, four grandchildren: Ellie, Kate, Ben and Georgie; step-children Bart Bruner (Cheryl), Louisville, Kentucky, Lee Bruner (Sue), Louisville, KY; and first cousins Sherry Zachry (Charles) Manassas, Virginia and Doug Poulter (Karen) Louisville and families.

Mr. Bisig was born July 16, 1939 in Louisville to George C. Bisig and Lucille Edna May Torsch Bisig. He was an Eagle Boy Scout, a graduate of DuPont Manual High School, 1957, and the University of Louisville, 1961. Upon graduation, Mr. Bisig was a high school teacher and coach. After a few years, he entered the sales profession, working for General Food then Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company in Kentucky.

In 1972 he was a salesman for Lawyers Co-Operative Publishing Company (now Thomson Reuters) serving the legal industry in Kentucky and Tennessee. A very successful sales professional, he was promoted to various regional and national sales management roles, and lived in northern Kentucky, Rochester, New York and Louisville. He finished his career as Director of Sales for the Rocky Mountain Region and retired in Denver, Colorado in 2004, after 32 years.

Mr. Bisig was an accomplished athlete and sports enthusiast. He played baseball at the high school and collegiate levels. He was very proud that his high school baseball team won the state championsip in 1957. As a sports fan, he attended a multitude of Super Bowls, NCAA Basketball Finals, World Series games, and professional golf tournaments. He was also a horse racing enthusiast and attended many Kentucky Derbies.
