The Life of Dr. Roy Stern
Stern, Roy 84 of Bala Cynwyd, PA, died on Friday, December 26, 2014. Roy emigrated from Germany in 1941, served in the U.S. Army, was a graduate of Brown University and NY Medical College. He was a psychiatrist at Temple University Hospital for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jami Fiel and survived by his wife Lenore (nee Fyne), daughter Kate Rafferty (Jason Rafferty), grandson James Rafferty and brother Frank (Betty). Funeral Services and interment are private. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Shiva will be observed at the late residence, Sunday after 4 pm and Monday and Tuesday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Melmark www.melmark.org or a charity of choice.
