The Life of Marian Angelo

DANVILLE — Marian Angelo, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at Grandview Health Homes, where she was a resident. Born Aug. 14, 1931, in Kulpmont, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Warkomski) Lutz and stepmother, Margaret Lutz. She was also a previous resident of Philadelphia. She was a 1948 graduate of Kulpmont High School. In 1952, in St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont, she married the late Joseph Angelo, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Marian was a member of St. Lucy's Church in Philadelphia. She was a very religious individual and was devoted to her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanie Konopka, of Lafayette Hills; two sons, Mark and Michael, both of Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Lutz and his fiancé, Kathy Allen, of Kulpmont, and Ronald Lutz and his wife, Shirley, of Hazelton, and a sister, Rose Bielskie, and her husband, Steve, of Kulpmont. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen, and a son, Joseph.
