The Life of Miles J. Lewis

#333333;">MILES J. LEWIS Miles J. Lewis, 87, of Lansdale, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014. He was the loving husband of Doris L. (Click) Lewis. Mr. Lewis was born July 13, 1927, in Plymouth Meeting, and was the son of the late Francis and Helen (Brennan) Lewis. Miles was the owner of an excavation business in the Lansdale area. He was a member of various social clubs in the Lansdale area, where he was a friend to many who knew him. He enjoyed playing shuffle board and shooting pool. He will be dearly missed by all. Along with his wife he is survived by one son, Alan Miles Lewis Sr., and companion Lori Conway, Greenlane. There are also two grandchildren. There will be a viewing from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, with an additional viewing starting 10 a.m. on Wednesday from the Funeral Home. The Prayer Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
