The Life of Douglas Frank Pohlman

Douglas Frank Pohlman, "Doug", a resident of Davidsonville for five years and previously of Severna Park, died June 7 in Glen Burnie from internal injuries due to an automobile accident. He was born Feb. 26, 1960, in Connecticut, to William and Roberta Pohlman, and attended the University of Maryland, where he received his Bachelor's degree in business. He was the self-employed owner of Clipper Carpet in Millersville for 20 years. In his spare time, Doug enjoyed hiking, camping, boating, traveling and being with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three siblings, Dave Pohlman of Pennsylvania, Don Pohlman of Colorado and Debbie Hamilton of California; two children, Amy Bernhardt of Hampstead and Tracy Maugeri of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchild, Madison Bernhardt; and former spouse, Susan Pohlman of Crofton. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Interment private.
