?Elinore Newman O'Neill, 90, passed away peacefully at home on August 23,2014 with her husband Joseph F. O'Neill at her side. Survived by her husband of 65 years, retired Police Commissioner of Philadelphia and retired Director of Police of Conrail, Joseph F. O'Neill. Also survived by her children Anne McCormick, Elinore O'Neill Kolodner (Harvey) of Philadelphia, Joseph O'Neill (Eileen) of Clayton, NC, Thomas O'Neill of Seattle, WA; grandchildren Lori McCormick of Philadelphia, Kristen Drueding (Wayne)of Millville NJ, Michael McCormick of Philadelphia, Elizabeth Kolodner Bitterman (Bartholomew) of Wayne PA, Kevin Medeiros (Carrie) of Archer Lodge, NC and Michael Medeiros of Raleigh, NC. Loving great-grandchildren Emily McCormick, Ella, Ava and Olivia McCormick, Sarah Drueding, Colin and Lila Medeiros. Viewing on Wednesday August 27 at 9AM followed by Mass at 10 AM at St Mathias, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave. Bala Cynwyd, PA. Internment at Washington's Crossing Veteran's Cemetery will be private.
