The Life of Louann Geiger

GEIGER, Louann “Lonny” Geiger, (nee Cupp), 82, of Riddle Village in Middletown Township, and formally of Upper Providence Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11th, 2014.

Born in Johnstown PA, she was a graduate of Bucknell University and a member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed her work life as co-owner of Craftsmen’s Company Inc. for 29 years. Lonny was an accomplished seamstress who loved music, games, Philadelphia sports, ping-pong, the sun, and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially in Ocean City, NJ. She was a strong woman who loved life and lived it fully.

The daughter of the late Paul and Louise Cupp, she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Jay Edward, sister Janice Wilcox and son in-law John Partridge. She is survived by her daughters: Lynne Murray (Kevin), Laurie Geiger (Gregg), Leigh Partridge and Dr. Lisa Geiger (Paul), grandchildren: Jason (Alyssa) and Julia Murray; Bryan, Emily, Allison and Claire Partridge; Jacob Geiger; sister Marilyn Dahl, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 17th at 1:00 pm with a 12 noon receiving line at Riddle Village, 1048 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Demetrius Bagley Professorship Fund, Office of Institutional Advancement  125 S. 9th St. Suite 700 Phila., PA, 19107.  Arrg.
