Marci was my friend since we were 13. We went to Appel Farm together, so many concerts together, and in recent years, we reconnected after many years. Marci brought me joy- we had precious time to celebrate, visit museums, hang out at coffee shops, talk. I am lucky that a mutual friend told me about this sudden and terrible loss and am heartbroken to have missed the funeral. My deepest sympathies to her parents, brother and sister and members of her synagogue which she loved. I hope to speak to a family member and again, the world has lost an original talented and loving person.
