The Life of Catherine R. Frame

Catherine Ruth (Thomson) Frame, 80, passed away on July 16, 2014 at Taylor Hospice.

Catherine was born in Sharon Hill, PA on February 14, 1934 to Harold and Catherine (Cornatzer) Thomson. She grew up in South Jersey and graduated from Bridgeton High School, NJ in 1954.  In 1955, she married William R Frame, Sr. She was a resident of Brookhaven, PA for 55 years.

Catherine was active in establishing the first library in Christian Academy when it resided behind Faith Baptist Church in Brookhaven.  She attended Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Wallingford, PA, where she was active in Sunday school and summer vacation bible schools. 

She worked part-time at McDonalds (Brookhaven), and a Hallmark card store (Media). Following this, she worked 10 years at Riddle Memorial Hospital as an Operating Room Aide. After retiring, she continued volunteering in the Riddle Thrift Shop.

She and her husband enjoyed summers camping at the Jersey Shore. She loved people and was known as a caregiver.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William R. Frame, Sr; her daughter, Dawn (Frame) Schwerin (Keith) of Brookhaven, PA; her son, William R. Frame, Jr (Lynne) of West Chester, PA; her daughter, Diane Frame of Cornelius, NC; her sisters Carol (Thomson) Hunt of Bridgeton, NJ; Edna (Babe) (Thomson) McDermott of Shiloh, NJ; her brother Donald Thomson of Lehighton, PA; her grandchildren, Keith Schwerin Jr., Bradley Frame, Kraig Schwerin, Ashley Frame, Brandon Frame and Weston Frame. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard Thomson and Harold Thomson Jr; her sister, Patricia (Thomson) Stimpson and a granddaughter, Dawn Michelle Schwerin.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 10:00 AM at BRINGHURST FUNERAL HOME at WEST LAUREL HILL CEMETERY, 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, burial to immediately follow.

Although I didn't know Mrs. Frame, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I am a good friend of her son Bill. His faith, I'm sure, would make her proud. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. My deepest sympathy, Eugene Pappianne
