DOWNS,  ELAINE V. (nee Freeman), age 97, of Phila., PA and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on June 26, 2014. Beloved wife of the late William H. Downs, Jr. Loving mother of William D. (Barbara) of Wallingford, PA and Elaine V. Frazier of Yelm, WA. Devoted grandmother of Stephanie, Kevin, and Bryan. Relatives and friends are invited to Elaine's Life Celebration on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 9 to 10 A.M. in SPENCER T. VIDEON OF DREXEL HILL, 400 Shadeland Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Funeral Service to follow at 10 A.M. Interment West Laurel Hill Cem. In lieu of flowers a donation in Elaine's name may be made to Simpson House, 2101 Belmont Ave, Phila., PA 19131 would be appreciated.
