Koltun, Daniel S., 80, longtime resident of Rochester, NY died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Quadrangle in Haverford, PA. Daniel graduated from Harvard University and received his PhD at Princeton University. He was a professor of physics at the University of Rochester for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Charlotte (nee Simon). He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith, two children: Naomi Koltun-Fromm (Ken Koltun-Fromm) and Joshua (Chau), four grandchildren: Ariel, Talia and Isaiah Koltun-Fromm and Mila Koltun, and two sisters: Victoria Kelman (Rabbi Stuart Kelman) and Elizabeth Koltun. Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 pm Friday April 11, 2014 at The Chapel of Peace at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 215 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
