The Life of Marilyn M. Pearsall

Marilyn M. (Hartung) Pearsall, 86, formerly of Andreas, Schuylkill County, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in the Breidegam Center on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township. She was the widow of Daniel Pearsall. Born in Northampton, Marilyn was a daughter of the late Robert S. and Lena M. (Schlauch) Hartung. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of the Keystone Riding Club. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling by motorcycle, they even traveled to Europe and the Alps to tour by motorcycle.

Marilyn is survived by four daughters, Sandi J. Pearsall, Denver, Colo.; Carol M. (Pearsall) Gadomski, Breinigsville; Barbara A. (Pearsall), wife of Robert R. Pedregon, Slatington; and Mary E. (Pearsall), wife of Thomas G. McDaniel, Philadelphia; and a son, Donald R., husband of Coleen A. (Beers) Pearsall, Slatington. Other survivors include two sisters, Dorie V. (Hartung) Drummer, Macungie and Dianne M. Hartung, Schnecksville. There are twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Marilyn was predeceased by a son, James D. Pearsall in 1997.

There will be a family directed memorial service on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Deibert Hall, in the Breidegam Center Building, located on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, with The Reverend Samantha L. Drennan, officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in Deibert Hall. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of family.
