The Life of Beth A. Angstadt

Beth A. (Huff) Angstadt, 58, of Rockland Township, died suddenly on Friday, December 8, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of Clay P. Angstadt.  They were married August 7, 1982.  Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Doris (Shappell) Huff, Leesport, and the late Glenn Huff, Sr.  Beth was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.  She was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, class of 1977; and a class of 1981 graduate of Millersville University, Millersville, Lancaster County, with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. Beth was an elementary school teacher for over 27 years with the Reading School District, teaching in the Glenside and Riverside Elementary buildings, until her retirement in 2013.  Beth enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren, and did so as often as she could.

In addition to her husband of 35 years, Clay; and her mother, Doris, Beth is survived by a daughter, Rebecca L. (Angstadt) wife of Nathan F. Keller, Fleetwood; and a son, Jordon P. husband of Kristi M. (McCulley) Angstadt, Rockland Township.  Other survivors include a sister Lisa (Huff), wife of, John Eline, Leesport; and a brother, Jeff, husband of, Cheryl (Gresh) Huff, Dillsburg, York County.  There are three grandchildren, Abigail L. Keller; Annabell C. Keller and Hayley M. Angstadt.  In addition to her father, Beth was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Huff, Jr.

A memorial service to celebrate Beth's life will be held on Thursday evening, December 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with her pastor, Ruth F. Doty, officiating.  There will be a visitation period from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family requests contributions be made in loving memory of Beth to the Beth A. Angstadt Memorial Fund, c/o Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., P.O. Box 292, Kutztown, PA 19503-0292, to be distributed to causes that were important to Beth.
