The Life of Anna V Heffner

Anna V. (Angstadt) Heffner, 92, a resident of Keystone Villa, Blandon, a former resident of Saucony Cross, Kutztown, and the Village of New Jerusalem, died on Sunday, October 15, 2017, in her residence. She was the widow of Jeremiah K. "Jerry" Heffner who died June 30, 2003.

Born in Rockland Township, Anna was a daughter of the late Lewis B. and Esther (Frederick) Angstadt. Mrs. Heffner was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. Anna was employed as a cutter for many years by former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown and Kutztown Blouse Factory. She was a member of the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Pike Township Sportsmen's Association, Oley. Anna enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, sewing in her younger years, and going to the casinos with her husband, Jerry.

Anna is survived by her two Sons, Jeremiah C., widower of Geraldine J. (Green) Heffner, Kutztown, and Robert N. Heffner, companion of Sharon A. (Wagaman) Larsen, Fleetwood; a Half-Brother, Harold Angstadt, Fleetwood; 5 Grandchildren, Sheryl, Sue, Jarrod, Michael and Melissa, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Husband, Parents, Step-Mother, Maude (Reifsnyder) Angstadt and a Half-Brother, Nevin Angstadt.

A funeral service to celebrate Anna's life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Loyde Nomland and Reverend Ruth F. Doty, officiating. Burial will follow in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood (Rockland Township). Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions be made in Anna's memory to New Jerusalem Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
