The Life of Alice J Brensinger

Alice J. (Kemp) Brensinger, 88, formerly of Alburtis, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in River Woods Senior Living Community, Lewisburg, PA, where she was a resident for four years. She was the widow of John C. Brensinger, who died on November 15, 1997.

Born in Longswamp Township, Alice was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Lila M. (Greiss) Kemp. She was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. Mrs. Brensinger was employed as a folder by the former Rems & Sons Knitting Mill, Macungie, for 34 years, until her retirement. Alice loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Alice is survived by her Daughter, Linda L. (Kemp) wife of Lee G. Isamoyer, Lewisburg; a Brother, Woodrow W. Kemp, Alburtis; 2 Grandchildren, Shawn D. Hays and Kristie L. McLoud; 5 Great Grandchildren, Maggie L. Keiffer, Chloe L. Eisenhuth, Mackenzie J. and Tucker Hays, and Delaynee E. McLoud; and a Great-Great Grandson, Reed J. R. Keiffer. Alice was predeceased by her Parents, and 9 Siblings.

A graveside service to celebrate Alice’s life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Longswamp Union Cemetery, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown, with Reverend Jane M. Kropa officiating. Burial will conclude the services.

The family requests that contributions be made in Alice’s memory to Geisinger Health: Janet Weis Children's Hospital, 100 North Academy Avenue, Danville, PA  17822. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
