The Life of Walter A Reidenhour

Walter A. Reidenhour, 90, formerly of Maxatawny Township, died November 26, 2016, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, Kutztown, where he was a resident 14 months. He was the widower of Pauline M. (Werley) Reidenhour, who died February 14, 2009.

Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late Eugene A. and Rosa (Derr) Reidenhour. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Mr. Reidenhour was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.  He was a self-employed farmer in Maxatawny Township for over 60 years and also worked as a molder at the former Kutztown Foundry for 45 years.

Walter is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by all of his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend David W. Blitch, officiating.  Interment will follow in New Bethel Zion Cemetery. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
