The Life of Irene V Nellett

Irene V. (Barrington) Nellett, 86, of Rockland Township, formerly of Gulfport, Miss., and Philadelphia, PA, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in her residence. She was the widow of MSgt Joseph D. Nellett, USAF, retired, who died on September 1, 2008.

Born in Philadelphia, Irene was a daughter of the late William G. and Matilda (Dietrich) Barrington. Irene was a graduate of Kensington High School, Philadelphia. She was Lutheran in faith and was a Homemaker. An artist, Irene enjoyed painting and doing crafts at home. She also liked putting together jig-saw puzzles.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Irene C. (Hamson)Miller, Mertztown, widow of Charles Miller, who died on August 9, 2012, and Susan G. Hamson, New York, NY; 3 Grandsons, CMSgt Vincent C. Miller, USAF, Shreveport, LA, Christopher D. Miller, Bechtelsville, and Karl Ellis Miller, Phoenixville; and 4 Great-Grandsons, Vincent, Christopher, Tyler and Kollin Miller. Irene was predeceased by a Son, Leslie C. Hamson in 2000.

A joint graveside service and burial for Irene, husband, Joseph and son, Leslie, will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
